The EU Health Policy Forum composed of 52 umbrella organisations representing European stakeholders in the fields of public health and healthcare takes place in Brussels today. At the event, Tonio Borg, European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Policy, will discuss the key messages of the recent Commission Staff Working Document «Investing in Health» which was adopted as part of the Social Investment Package on 20 February.
The agenda also includes a discussion on future public health research priorities, and updates on recent policy developments in areas such as chronic diseases, tobacco and the new Health Programme.
